Sound Room Archive

CADENCE KEMPF

The Music Industry Studies program lacks a centralized, accessible platform to organize and preserve student-created music, making it difficult for work to be consistently showcased, discovered, and archived over time. Sound Room addresses this problem by providing an interactive, web-based archive that unifies diverse student-made projects into a cohesive, visually consistent, and user-friendly digital space. This matters because it not only improves accessibility and long-term preservation, but also strengthens the program’s identity and fosters ongoing engagement among students, faculty, alumni, and the wider community.
