ENCORE: Branded Lookbook
Mica Ponce
The Theatre Arts & Dance costume department faces limited funding while a valuable archive of garments remains underutilized and largely unseen. This project addresses the disconnect by activating these costumes as both a cultural and financial resource. Encore: Costume Archive is a curated lookbook and fundraiser that transforms archival pieces into a compelling, fashion-forward experience. Through editorial design, modular abstraction, and character driven storytelling, the project highlights the craftsmanship, silhouette, and identity of each costume. The system extends into branded materials such as tickets, tote bags, and posters, creating a cohesive and engaging campaign. This project matters because it increases visibility, strengthens community engagement, and establishes a sustainable model for future fundraising while preserving the significance of costume design.
