Scott Gericke
Creative Director
Scott’s always thinking about what’s next. He followed the river down from St. Louis last year to join the Loyola Design team, where he teaches Typography, Junior Studio and Senior Capstone. He brings a wealth of knowledge from the professional side, working for agencies and running his own studio for decades. When Scott’s not creatively directing in The Collective, you might find him digging through the recycled bin for colorful pages to overprint on, checking out estate sales in this city with more hidden memorabilia than you might imagine, or rooting for his newfound teams the Saints and Pelicans.
Fredo Shaw
Assistant Art Director
Fredo Shaw was raised in Houston, TX (where he learned how to tie his shoes for the first time.) His love for design began slightly before the pandemic, making miniature profile pictures for his friends. This pushed him further towards his passion of being a multi-disciplinary graphic designer. Fredo has a strong belief in making ideas come to life to change the world!
Aleigha Thompson
Art Director
Aleigha Thompson is a graphic designer from Austin, Texas with a passion for motion design and branding. Recently, she has been spreading her love for the Loyola Design program as an Art director for The Collective, President of @loyno.dsgn , and an Intern for @kendall.collective. In her free time, you can find her hanging out with friends, binge-watching shows, and riding in the Krewe of Freret. :)
Mimi Ryall
Assistant Art Director
Mimi is from the beautiful Little Rock, Arkansas. With a background in fine arts, she brings this perspective to her design work. In her free time, Mimi loves sewing, ceramics, collage, painting, and fashion—always finding ways to combine analog techniques with her graphic design practice to create something unexpected. Her biggest inspiration comes from her community, ensuring that her audience can connect with her work and find meaning in it, all of which fuels her approach to design. Along with working at The Collective, she also works at The Parlour Gallery, where she actively blends her love for fine arts and graphic design in service of her local community.
Kristen Goodly
Art Director
Kristen Goodly was born and raised in Lake Charles, LA. As the Art Director for the Collective, Kristen draws inspiration from things both old and new. She is always excited to learn and experiment with design. When she isn’t designing you can find her jamming to music, watching movies and rating them, as well as looking for more inspiration!
Kennedy Dickerson
Designer
Kennedy Dickerson is a graphic designer from Atlanta, Georgia! Kennedy knew she wanted to be a designer since her sophomore year of high school, when she took her first design class and instantly found her calling. Since then, she has honed her craft in branding, print, and visual storytelling—always pushing creative boundaries and finding new ways to solve design problems.
Gabby Yenewine

Gabby Yenewine is a graphic designer from the small town of Fairhope, AL. With a passion for print design, she thrives on blending traditional craftsmanship with modern digital techniques. Whether she's sketching by hand or diving deep into the Adobe Suites, Gabby’s creative process is all about turning ideas into tangible designs. She also draws inspiration from her experience in bookmaking, letterpress, and printmaking, bringing a unique, hands-on approach to every project and expanding her reach within the design world.

Designer
Patricia Cabrera is a graphic designer from San Juan, Puerto Rico, with a love for all things artistic—from music and film to tattoos and design. Her graphic work blends illustration, lettering, typography, and analog materials to create her bold and expressive style. Her artistic approach is fiery and technical, bringing grit and precision to everything she creates.

Daniel Garces is a graphic designer born in Medellín, Colombia and raised in Miami, Florida. Daniel’s creative journey began with analog and digital photography, where he developed a passion for visual storytelling. His love for capturing moments naturally led him to explore design, where he found new inspiration and new ways to craft visuals that connect ideas.

Designer
I’m Justin Lee, a graphic designer from Shreveport, LA, who loves printed media and painting. My work blends illustration, typography, and motion, often exploring social themes. I’ve designed for musicians, theaters, and advocacy campaigns, always aiming to create bold, meaningful visuals. I hope to attend grad school and eventually work in editorial design, where I can push creative boundaries and make impactful designs.
