Constance is a full-service design and Risograph printing studio. It was created in 2005 to nourish and strengthen the arts community of New Orleans. Though more concretely, a multi-discipline design office, Constance formed more as an idea of celebration and resilienceóa nebulous platform that supported the growing local arts communityóthrough various self-initiated collaborations with many individuals and organizations in New Orleans, as well as internationally.
Now looking more forward, we continue to critically investigate discourses of design, utilizing highly unstable processes that cannot be easily measured and do not always yield the outcomes that were intended.
Erik Kiesewetter (b. 1981) is an independent multi-disciplinary designer primarily focused on publication, identity, print ephemera as well as the critique of current design practices, themselves.
